Yesterday, I went to see Phenomena, a short film realised by Josef Gatti.

It was a fascinating movie in which the narrator (which is the director) immerses himself in artistic exploration of scientific phenomenon such as energy, electromagnetism, and light. It wasn’t scientifically interesting though accurate but artistically beautiful. It really felt like a tribute to curiosity, to taking the time to observe, and to reconnecting with the world around us.

The film is beautifully shot and edited. It draws you into Josef Gatti’s journey of exploration, supported by a mesmerizing ambient soundtrack composed by Rival Consoles. A true pleasure for both the eyes and the ears.

Josef also highlighted the work of Sandbox Films, which seems like a very promising studio for future films to explore.

It’s a film I’m adding to my personal collection of pieces of art that help to connect people who are able to see beauty in nature and in the environment that surrounds them. I can only recommend it :)
